There comes a time in all of our working lives when we have to give negative feedback to an employee or colleague. It may be that they have a super messy desk, perhaps you didn’t like how to spoke to you, or maybe they’re just not completing a particular task to the expected standard. 

Whatever the reason, giving feedback can be a tricky conversation, so in this episode I give you 5 top tips to help you do it successfully, including: 

  • Have a ‘praise in public, critique in private’ philosophy 
  • Don’t let it fester 
  • Give the person a chance to respond 

So take these tips on board and make sure that when you have to give feedback, the outcome will be a positive one!
