When someone pays you a compliment, do you accept it, or do you brush it off with “thanks, but...”? Many of us find it difficult to accept compliments graciously, so why are we expected to accept feedback? 

Getting negative feedback can feel personal, and is a challenging conversation to have at any time, let alone at work. So in this episode I share with you some tips to help understand and deal with negative feedback, including: 

  • Listen to what’s being said 
  • Ask for more time to respond 
  • Speak up for yourself
